Unexpectedly found nil while implicitly unwrapping an Optional value

I’m encountering an error as shown in the picture. From what I can tell, this error seems to appear after the camera permission approval message, which leads me to believe it’s a camera-related issue. However, I’m unable to resolve this with my current abilities. Could you please assist me?

( I'm using MacBook Pro M2 and X Code 15.2 version...)

Im my case willTransition was never called so screenRect was never initialized. Rotating the device wasn't working either, so I had to change override func willTransition to

override func viewWillTransition(to size: CGSize, with coordinator: UIViewControllerTransitionCoordinator) {
        super.viewWillTransition(to: size, with: coordinator)
        
        ....
}

After that everything Works as expected, but at the Moment it seems that the drawn rectangles do not support landscape mode 🤔
