IFC project settings

Here you can store information directly in the IFC file. This means:

  • project name (stored in entity: IFCProject)
  • entity: IFCOwnerHistory represented by:
    • Entity: IfcPersonAndOrganization
      • organization (IFCOrganization)
      • given name & family name (IFCPersion)

Metadata

The following standards are currently supported.

DIN SPEC 91391-2 (Common Data Environments (CDE) for BIM projects)

Metadata 91319-2

  • Input of all supported metadata.
  • UUID will be generated (input is not available)

DIN 18740-6 - "Photogrammetric products – Part 6: Requirements for digital elevation models"

Metadata 18740-6
  • Input of all supported metadata. Currently unavailable:
    • export of Bounding Box
    • Accuracy - horizontal / vertical

Export

IFC property set: The first way is to store the metadata via IfcPropertySets.

JSON export: It is also possible to store the metadata in a separate JSON file, which can be used for further processing (for example: semantic web).
