I found a closely related DSH discussion about reasoning streams getting stuck in repetitive output: #10179 . It includes a loop-guard design and validation notes, not a verified drop-in fix for 0.2.1-rc.2.

Before changing plugins, I'd isolate where the repetition originates:

Reproduce once with a short prompt and record the exact model, provider/route, reasoning setting, and output-token cap (the dsh web version alone doesn't identify the model generating the text).
Compare the raw llm/stream reasoning deltas with the saved assistant/attempt or assistant/chunk record for the same step, if available. If the phrase repeats in the raw stream, investigate model/provider generation and its token budget. If it appears only in the UI/replay, investigate the stream assembly/rendering path instead.
As a controlled test, keep the prompt fixed and switch only the model/provider route or reasoning setting; compare whether the loop reproduces. Stop the run rather than letting it consume the full output budget.

One adapter caveat: the pi-ai adapter documents GenerateOptions.stop as unsupported, so adding a stop sequence is not a guaranteed workaround: https://github.com/deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness/blob/master/packages/llm/llm-pi-ai/README.md .

I can't confirm a root cause from this snippet alone, and I haven't reproduced your configuration. If you can share a redacted single-step trace and the model/route, that should narrow it down without guessing or installing an unverified guard.

Hi! This looks like a generation loop, but the example alone is not enough to determine whether it originates in the model, the prompt, or the client integration.

I would try to isolate it with three comparisons:

Start a fresh session using the same model and provider, with a short prompt and no tools.
Repeat the same prompt through the provider's direct API, if available, using equivalent generation settings.
Compare the raw response with the content displayed by DSH.

If the loop appears in the raw provider response, that points toward model generation behavior. If it appears only after DSH processes or replays the response, the integration deserves closer inspection.

It would also help to record the model identifier, provider route, maximum output tokens, and whether this occurs before or after tool calls or context compaction.

As a temporary measure, avoid repeatedly continuing an already looping session. Start a fresh context and keep the problematic session logs for diagnosis.

I wouldn't claim a specific fix without comparing those paths first.
