pysub

pysub is a little Python 2 library to manipulate SubRip subtitle files. The main class of the library is the SubtitleStream class.

Installing pysub

pysub is available in the Python Package Index so you can install it by issuing the following command on your computer:

# pip install pysub

Otherwise, you can install from sources by typing:

# python setup.py install

Documentation

Documents for pysub are not exhaustive but they can be found under docs/html directory.

You can find more info in the pysub project's homepage.
