on c3 it was possible to get a lot of delays because doveauth only accepts up to 5 connections, and afterwards dovecot fails to use doveauth with "Resource temporarily unavailable" and only retries after a while.
also smtp submission per-client limits are adapted to allow running a test from a single IP address
