Run Locally

To get a copy of Passwords up and running on your local machine, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/devbertskie/password-manager.git

    After successful cloned. Head over to the project directory

    cd password-manager
  2. Install Dependencies:

    Navigate into the project directory and install the required dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Edit Environment Variables:

    Rename .env.example to .env file:

    mv .env.example .env

    Important: Make sure to fill up the required environment variables before running the application to avoid unwanted errors.

  4. Run the Development Server:

    Start the app in development mode with the following command:

    npm run dev

    Head over to your browser and access the localhost:3000

  5. Build the App:

    To build the app, run the following command:

    npm run build
