mysql Acces denied

Please, how to fix this error :

"Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in C:\xampp\htdocs\school\connect.php on line 7
cannot connect"

hello. You need to create that user on ur mysql database. then change the details if needed in the code. note. the code is not maintained anymore.
