Note that this project is quite rough. It was written to fullfill a specific need that I had. Therefore configuration is not pretty, and nothing is packaged to be installed with pip. Setup Instructions. 1. Create a virtualenvironment: virtualenv <virtualenv> 2. Install uwsgi (2.0.12 is the version tested): cd <virtualenv> . ./bin/activate pip install uwsgi 3. Install flask cd <virtualenv> . ./bin/activate pip install flask 4. Edit start.sh and edit the following variables to what you'd like: PORT=4443 IP=127.0.0.1 PROCESSES=4 BUFFER_SIZE=65536 LOGFILE="otd.log" PIDFILE="otd.pid" VIRTUALENV=<path to your virtualenv> 5. Edit stop.sh and set the following variables: PIDFILE="otd.pid" 6. You'll need to set up nginx or apache (preferable nginx) to have a specific URL set up as a uwsgi proxy. Here is an example for nginx. You'll have to fill in ip and port to match what's in start.sh. location /otd { include uwsgi_params; uwsgi_pass $ip:$port; proxy_set_header Host $host; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $server_name; } You can probably use an http socket with uwsgi, but I never tested in that configuration. 7. Edit app/__init__.py and set the following variables: self.downloadurl = '/otd' self.filepath = '<path where you want to put your files>' self.debug = False Note that self.downloadurl needs to be the same as the location in step 6. 8. Run start.sh. uwsgi will start up. You can access files like so: http|https://<your web server>/otd?f=<your file>
