What's new vs upstream v1.0.0

  • HIG-compliant app icon — redesigned to match Apple's Launchpad icon grid (824×824 content area on a dark squircle with subtle gradient).
  • Two Finder toolbar extensions — dedicated Open in Terminal button plus a new Copy Path button, each bundled as a FinderSync extension.
  • Works on network drives — when the FinderSync URL API returns nil (SMB/AFP mounts, server browsers, …), both extensions fall back to asking Finder via AppleScript.
  • No more "waiting" indicator — menu callbacks dispatch work to a background queue.
  • Shared preferences via app group group.com.solarhell.go2shell.

Install

brew install dingtang2008/tap/go2shell

On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may block it (ad-hoc signed build). Either right-click → Open, or run:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/go2shell.app
