Welcome to the DOSBox Staging wiki!

DOSBox Staging is an attempt to revitalize DOSBox's development process. It's not a rewrite, but a continuation and improvement on the existing DOSBox codebase while leveraging modern development tools and practices.

This Wiki is open to edits. Therefore any contributions are welcome. Please read the Code of conduct and then follow these very simple rules:

• content is written with new users in mind
• content must be accurate
• examples must be clear and backed with data or screenshots whenever possible
• keep things tidy (content sorted, short sentences and headlines, etc.)
• no link to copyrighted materials

The number of entries on the sidebar must be kept to a minimum. New entry is only for subject that really requires thorough explanations with lenghty examples, etc. The main objective being: for users to find information as quickly as possible.

Editing happened and will happen again to guarantee proper organization of articles and data. Also if there is a typo.

Use Discord, raise a ticket or start a discussion if you are unsure about a modification or simply to catch up.
