Thank you for all the support recently, it's been great, and we've been listening. Here is the WIP pull request to add themes in to Dot. Your feedback and contributions would be amazing to this.

I would recommend uigradients.com for colours. Gradients can give you a spectrum of colour you can base everything on. I'm not a web designer so I can't give you suggestions with any credibility.

I 🆙️ this idea, I think a light gray to white gradient for light theme in the launcher would look amazing in Dot.

Take a look at the Visual Studio Code themes as well, they all have great designs.

Okay, there are some exceptions. However the red one and solarized one are great themes in my opinion at least.

The Material Design Theme of Visual Studio Code is also really good in my opinion.
