Our most likely audience is busy, productivity driven people so aside from testing what the minimum UI is to keep them interested, the pace of the revelation of that UI will need to be exhaustively tested too.

There's an argument for helping people to slow down and take a minute from the beginning but they may benefit more from being able to start using the app relatively quickly and using other points in the app to teach the art of slowing down rather than them ending up frustrated with their initial experience.

@iteles totally agree! Gradually/progressively showing UI to the person/people using the app is essential for not overwhelming people with too much when they first view the app.

How do you propose we go about user testing the Pace?
(Can you condense this into a single sentence hypothesis?)

@iteles Maybe you should allow several UI options to be chosen at the start and then invest more on the most popular choice?
