Here's what we need to make this decision:

• Time estimated list of tasks required to have a beta ready
• Time estimated list of F&C tasks we've committed to between now and then
• Time estimated list of external tasks we've committed to between now and then
• An idea of how much time we will be able to dedicate to our product in the next year so we can set expectations

You/We need some sort of externally imposed _Deadline_ to work towards...

I totally agree we need a deadline to work towards. I think that problem is easily solved with a BIG calendar and a roadmap for each thing we're doing in a different colour.

Conference tickets are currently €735 which is £544.

Flights are still pretty reasonable:

Now we know you're going, the deadline is definitely there. The only thing we have to figure out is whether my going will bring £900 of value to the business or whether not going and being customer service, social media and bug fixer person is more valuable for that time. It's a question of quantifying both sides.

I'm also well aware tickets have to be bought by lunch time tomorrow.
