Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:
- You have installed Node.js and npm.
- You have a free API key from freecurrencyapi.com.
Follow these steps to get the application up and running:

Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/ecali/currency-converter.git cd currency-converter

Install dependencies
npm install

Set up your API key
Create a
.env
file in the root directory of the project and add yourFREECURRENCYAPI_KEY
:REACT_APP_API_KEY=your_api_key_here

Start the development server
npm run start

Open your browser and navigate to
http://localhost:3000
.
The application is deployed on Vercel. You can access it at cali-currency-converter.vercel.app.
