A library for lexing English language sentences into semantic tokens for input into TTS systems. This helps for models that can't be trained on unstructured input.
This is loosely based on some old Rust code I wrote that needs to be modernized. There are a number of things I still want to add (dictionary lookup), and the code is definitely not efficient at present.
The following are not yet implemented:
- lookup words and pluralizations against dictionary callback
- abbreviations and acronyms
- dates, times, durations
- CamelCaseStrings
- currency / prices
- emoji, emoticons
- ordinals, ratios
- etc.
I want to include more test cases from text found around the internet.
