Welcome to the MemoryMosaic (MM) Wiki!

MemoryMosaic is the ultimate way to store and organize a lifetime of photos and videos. It is a free and open source, locally-hosted Blazor Server App designed as a replacement for Google Photos. It is designed to be used by a single person, and ran either on a local Windows server, or your computer.

MM is powered by a PostgreSQL database. This database manages your library of items and your collections. The files themselves are stored on the local file system, while the database stores relative paths (also known as short paths or shortPaths) to where they are.

This Wiki acts as a manual for MM and covers how to use it, how it works, and more. I recommend reading (or at least skimming) through this Wiki before using it to make sure you fully understand it and its features.
