Mugen Studio 2.1 for Windows: the Studio in Spanish and Portuguese.

New

• Español (Latin American Spanish) and Português (Brazilian Portuguese). Options › Language switches every window: the main window, E-Select (its log included), Moves, the animation editor and player, all palette slots and the guide. Messages from the Studio's server show in the chosen language too. English is unchanged.
• Your own language packs. Drop a pack into Settings\languages\ in your Mugen Studio folder and it appears under Options › Language. A pack named after a shipped one (es-419.json, pt-BR.json) replaces it, so a corrected translation needs no update. app\public\lang\README.md explains how to make one, and the two glossaries list the terms in use.
• Narrow windows. The main window keeps every box whole down to about 400 px wide.

Install

1. Download Mugen-Studio-2.1-windows.zip below.
2. Right-click it, choose Extract All, and open the Mugen Studio folder.
3. Double-click MugenStudio.exe. Nothing to install.

Windows may warn you the first time, because the app isn't code-signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Update from 2.0 or 2.0.1

Close Mugen Studio. Extract the new zip into the folder that contains your Mugen Studio folder (not the folder itself), and choose Replace the files in the destination. Your Content and Settings folders are not touched.

Mugen Studio 2.0.1

Mugen Studio 2.0.1 for Windows: a fix release.

Fixed

• E-Select with a screenpack that has no cell-box sprite. When a pack's system.def names a cell.bg.spr its sprite file doesn't have, the game draws no box, only each face, one cell size plus spacing apart. E-Select sized those cells from cell.size alone, so in a pack with a tiny cell.size every face showed as a thin clipped strip and every character was flagged as a portrait of the wrong size. Cells now take the same room the game gives them, and the faces draw whole.
