Mangels Grid nutze ich momentan nur PV-Erzeugung i.V.m. residualpower. Heute Mittag (zum kochen) habe ich die Ladung gestoppt. Danach ließ sie sich nicht mehr starten. Es kam im UI die o.g. Fehlermeldung. Auch ein Neustart von EVCC brachte keinen Erfolg. Hab dann das Auto entriegelt, Stecker raus und nach ein paar Minuten wieder rein. Dann hat die Ladung wieder ganz normal begonnen. |

Hi @VolkerK62 Thanks for the detailed explanation, and the logs, I see that the charging station refused to start the transaction, this is so because it had been stopped earlier, and the connecter to the car was not reconnected. This is to make sure the 12V battery of your car doesn't run out. If you want I can upgrade your station to a special firmware which would allow you to start and stop as many times as you want without requiring you to reconnect the connector, but again would run the risk of depleting the 12V battery of your car. It's a tradeoff. |

@andig I think the implementation is working as intended as we had a couple of tests in the past, the only thing to fix here is to install the firmware version that lets the user to restart the charging as many times as needed, which comes with the risk of depleting the 12V battery. @VolkerK62 if you're okay with it, just give me a nod and I'll install the firmware for you. :) |

12V should not be a risk with evcc as we'll only start/stop when the vehicle is actually able to charge. At least we've not had any reports in the recent past (>6 months) |

I even can not imagine any scenario where a charger could deplete the 12V battery. This is only an issue for remote wakuup and remote data update requests on very specific cars with specifig firmware. But evcc already keeps care about these cases. |

Thanks a lot @andig and @premultiply, thats really great to hear, this will solve a lot of issues, I have heard of a couple of cases especially with some older EVs where this has been an issue, but since evcc already takes care of this, I also think we shouldn't have any problems. Thanks a lot guys! |
