Doesn't let me bootup to a DE and i can't bypass it #44

everytime i enter my login it redirects me to the cdm but then it fails to launch a DE. Is there anyway to bypass cdm on login or close it completely? I have tried adding nomodeset on grub but i have the same issue

What your distro does when you press ctrl+alt+F2?
It should open another terminal, this time not running cdm, so you can login in terminal and configure what's wrong.
