MapRoulette - FetchError when user is not authenticated to maproulette

Reported by a user in Slack:

I'm new to MapRoulette and tried to jump right into using the "MapRoulette Tasks" layer in Map Data; When I click on a green marker/task and click "I fixed it", clicking on the subsequent "Submit" button does nothing (and I see 401 FetchErrors coming back from the maproulette API). I was never prompted to go through an extra auth flow. Am I doing it wrong?

Edit: After separately visiting maproulette.org and logging in there, and refreshing Rapid, it seems to work normally. Definitely could be more obvious if that's what the user is expected to do!

I agree that it does sound like a bug if our code can’t handle the situation of the user not already being logged into MapRoulette.
