There's might be a one-off issue in the daily UK figures on 24th March - that day is 8 hours long not 24 hours long for counting deaths - see [1] - because they changed the time of day for the cut off. I don't know whether the case count changed in the same way. In my code I ignore this, every day is taken to be 24 hours. The data format from the government has changed a lot. This code doesn't work any more. There's a new CSV for England, which has a breakdown into regions, but no official source right now for whole of the UK. I'm closing this PR. |
