Phonegap plugin for Flurry mobile analytics

You really need to be careful that you pass the correct values to the methods. In particular, all event parameters must be in an NSDictionary that only contains strings, and remember that in Objective C booleans are Yes and No.

Here's how to install the plugin:

  1. Register with Flurry and get an App key
  2. Install plugin with plugman or cordova-cli
  3. Call the startSession() method, with your app key, after the device is ready. Or you can add your flurry key to www/config.xml like this:
<!-- Flurry App Key -->
<preference name="com.flurry.app_key" value="FLURRY_APP_KEY" />
  1. Call the other Flurry methods as appropriate.

Start Flurry Session On App Start

There are two ways to start a flurry session. One is by calling

flurry.startSession(flurryKey)

to start the flurry session programatically. The other one is to start the flurry session automatically on app startup.

To do that, all you have to do is to add the above preference to the config.xml file and turn on onload=true in the feature param. For example:

<feature name="Flurry">
    <param name="ios-package" value="CDVFlurry" />
    <param onload="true" />
</feature>

It will check if the flurry key preference exists. If it does, it will start the flurry session.
