How to build small size deb package for trixie
#12623
been trying to configure fluent-bit 5.1.3/5.1.4 for minimal size.
Tried turning many options off, but then the build fails.
Been banging my head against that wall for some time, so I thought I'll ask here.
I just need very basic stuff
regex
inputs: tail, systemd
filters: throttle, parser, record modifier
outputs: forward (gzip, tls)
And need deb packages for armhf / arm64, have two raspis (Pi3 1GB/32-bit, Pi4 8GB/64-bit, both run RaspiOS lite trixie) where to compile.
Ideally the fluent-bit deb package file size is under 1MB, not sure if that is realistic, but as small as possible.
The only relevant discussion I found is #8807 but using those command line options (without touching the files) increased the binary size from 64 to 70MB. Both with debug info and not stripped.
Will appreciate links and other pointers to sources that help me get where I want, and ready-made CMakeLists.txt and cmake/*.cmake files would be ideal.
