A beta hotfix release is currently blocked by #81837. This is a plan to land the release as soon as is safe.

  • Wait for engine tree to re-open. Get OK from engine sheriff to merge.
  • Roll buildroot for 2.2.x rc branch commit
  • Merge Beta hotfix engine PR.
  • Wait for binaries to build. If builds fail, escalate to engine sheriff.
  • codesign
  • roll to framework commit.
  • merge framework PR.
  • Validate CI.
  • Before actually publishing, trigger a test windows packaging build, to see verify the bot that would run it can talk to pub.dev. If it cannot, escalate to infra on-call. successful led build
  • If test packaging build succeeds, publish.

I think we can close this, right? We've merged the PR, etc., and have successfully tagged and pushed. Closing, and @christopherfujino can re-open if I'm missing something.
