No virtual dmd output on TPA #9

I've just started using dmdext. I've tried mirroring pinballarcade to virtual but not seeing any frames displayed although the program output says that it is detecting frames. I do get a virtual dmd on startup (all dots illuminated, grip handle, etc.).

As mentioned, I just started testing this yesterday on the current release which does use the new UI.

I believe NoEx did have to make some changes to the FreeCabMod program... to the extent that he did change the name of the executable. I have no idea if that has any bearing here. But I don't know the next step for me to continue troubleshooting. I haven't seen anyone else posting about issues. OTOH, I may be the only one with a use case for flipping a virtual DMD.

I have not yet gotten around to assembling my Pin2DMD system.

It's not a big priority. I don't have much invested at all in TPA.

Hi again CP, I have the same issue with the 1.50.10 build of TPA (the last with the old interface). I've had to block Steam updating to avoid the new front end and run NorEx's FreeCamMod in offline mode. I assuming that as the program is not finding the hooks that this may be a memory location change by TPA, the same issue that means NoEx has to update his mod with each DX11 build.

I'm also running a virtual DMD only in my three screen cab.

Although I'm running this all on its own I have two TPA setups on the cab through PinballX too, a FreeCamMod DX11 and BAM 3D DX9

Yes, NoEx is working on a patch that will work with future versions of TPA. Took him a while to figure out a way of automatically retrieve the position of each game, and but the initial position is still hard-coded for the specific .exe, which breaks when TPA updates.

Will be updating this when resolved.

Also started using DMDext together with PIN2DMD. Together with Pinballfx2 and some tweaking works fine. But TPA won´t work at all. Setup is a 2monitor setup using noex freeCameraMod together with a PIN2DMD as real DMD. No matter what I am tweaking in the settings.ini of noexs Mod and/or parameters of dmdext. It crashes when PinballArcade (DX11) is loading. Is that a known issue you are working on. btw: worked thru several versions of the dmdext. All the same problem with TPA.

Hello, same here, dmdext works perfectly with pinball fx2 but not with a quite recent version of Pinball Arcade. Are you still waiting on stuff from NoEx to make dmdext work again with pinball arcade ?

Hi, just installed DMDExt tonight and having this same issue, along with the same problem as reported in issue #10 .
Says frames being received but nothing rendered on Pin2DMD screen or Virtual DMD (DMDExt)

Note: DMDExt displays static images and the Test mode ok.

Just an update. It now worked for Pinball FX2, so Issue #10 seems to have gone away. Still not working on Pinball Arcade .
