To create this document just do

    make

and enjoy. If you want to do just one pdfLaTeX iteration then 

    pdflatex manualNewTestboard.tex

does the job.

To get the bibliography, you may need to run biber manually, i.e. biber DTBmanual

If you like to see what is done with make, have a look into Variables.ini and edit it to your needs.
