sircc
is an IRC client designed for simplicity and code legibility. It is
written in C for Unix platforms.
sircc
is currently highly experimental: anything can change at any moment.
It is recommended to build it in debug (make debug=1
) and to enable core
files on your machine.
The following build options are available:
debug=1
: build a debug binary.with_x11=0
: build without X11 support.
The example
directory is an example of configuration for sircc
. You can
use it by copying in your home directory and renaming it to .sircc
. You can
also run sircc
with the -c
command line argument pointing on the example
directory.
The SSL certificate chain (example/ssl/freenode.pem
) provided for the
Freenode IRC network was created from files downloaded via the Freenode
website. Note that it may have been changed since the moment it was
downloaded.
