"Generic placeholder for inserting models to map. Model triangles are baked to BSP.
MD3, ASE, 3DS, OBJ, FM, LWO, MD2, MDC, MS3D model formats are supported."
I don't know what got me to test this, but I did, I used a .glb (glTF) model exported straight from Blender into q3s model folder and to my surprise NR-C did load and showed the model and to an even bigger surprise q3map2 17 did compile the model into the level.
Maybe the tip can be updated for future releases and there might be more formats supported, not really sure how to know this though.

This copypasta is literally in every idtech3 gamepack, doubt i want to maintain relevant formats list in all of them.
Supported formats may be seen in file dialog after misc_model creation:
No ofc, I didn't know there were so many of these supported, not like you want to state all those.
I just came from radiant 1.4, just a few days ago so well, that doesn't support many formats, I just assumed this was still the case. Thanks for pointing this out,
