All responsible parties replied informing that they are aware of the lack of service of their installations, and that they are promoting the best efforts to resolve the situation in the near future. Therefore:
datasets should be classified as not orphaned;
some parties will consider the possibility of using the GBIF.PT IPT to host their data, although the preferred option is to use their institutional IT services;
GBIF Portugal will monitor the evolution of the datasets' situation, and will report again in three months time, 15 of October.

Rui has contacted the responsible parties for each orphaned dataset in Portugal's list. Another update is expected before 15 July deadline.
