These terms were created to represent both the nucleocytoplasmic carrier AND the cargo; this is not the current practice. So these terms will be obsoleted

GO:0071426 ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071427 mRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071431 tRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071429 snRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071430 pre-miRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus

No annotations, no mappings, these terms are not present in any subsets.

Dear all,

The proposal has been made to obsolete
GO:0071426 ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus & children:
GO:0071427 mRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071431 tRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071429 snRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus
GO:0071430 pre-miRNA-containing ribonucleoprotein complex export from nucleus

The reason for obsoletion is that these terms represent both a transport process and its cargo; this is not the current GO practice. There are no annotations, no mappings, these terms are not present in any subsets.

You can comment on the ticket: #22246

Thanks, Pascale
