Material-like look and feel but with SVG/PNG icons (monochrome/greyscale/size) #1016
-
I am currently porting from flame and I have quickly come to realise that whilst I thought I liked material icons what I actually like is a contiguous colour pallet and icon sizing. For example we can see the difference between these material and PNG icons for Emby Once we start adding many services we have a visual christmas tree of colours which is not to everyones taste. Would it be possible to add an option to use PNG|SVG icons but have them standardised in a way that they look more like material icons? The grey scale gradient that homepage uses on material icons is especially nice. |

Same situation here. Maybe to store the svg icons in black, like the ones coming from si or mdi. Based on that, the gradient etc. can be applied in the same way on the local stored icons like on the remote imported ones. |

You are more than welcome to use your own icons, themed to your taste. Far outside the scope of anything homepage would offer feature wise though. |

I closed this ticket as out of scope thanks to the accepted answer but just for info it looks like converting a png to a materiel gradient icon would be possible with imagemagick with one or two commands. I had some success but quickly got out of my depth. If you really want this I suggest it is probably completely possible with a few hours effort or someone who is skilled in this area already. |
