Microsoft Teams Integration does not support Tenants #8818
Comments
Assigning to @getsentry/support for routing ⏲️ |
Routing to @getsentry/product-owners-settings-integrations for triage ⏲️ |
The integration is meant to work for the standard SaaS app, we've not tested this for Tenants. This is something the team will need to investigate and will need some dedicated effort. Adding this to our backlog but we will likely not have an answer in the next 8 weeks |
Hey all, feedback from the customer here is that majority of Teams users are coming from the Office 365 Licence (tenants) see here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/what-is-a-tenant-and-what-is-the-relationship-with/a78ab813-6431-4958-a931-baacf2e547db It's possible there's a disconnect with how we are using the term Tenants and how Microsoft is using the term Tenants. The core issue here is that we need to be explicit about which circumstances are currently supported. |
@souredoutlook so if I understand correctly, a "tenant" in MSTeams is like a Slack workspace or a Sentry organization, is that right? Do you know the term for what we support now? (I have not worked on the MSTeams integration, clearly 😅). |
