Can we input the desired plot size as an argument to each plot function?

you mean sometimes the plot is too crowded and needs a larger size? I hope each plotting function has as fewer arguments as possible. If the plot size is often too small, we may need to change the default size (currently 600x400, I think) in qtpaint rather than in cranvas. I doubt if it is worth the effort to add two extra arguments in each plotting function.

BTW, none of R plotting functions set the plot size in the functions; the size of the graphics device is always fixed initially unless the user opens a device with, for example, x11(width = 8, height = 7). We do not have such a graphics device in qtpaint. If the user is not satisfied with the size, they can resize after all. To force an ad hoc size which looks good to us may look ugly to other users.
