Setup

  • Which version of Git for Windows are you using? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

@javahook , please complete the information template with the Git version, Windows Version, Install options, Command used, and any other information that may help.

Without it we are unable to even make a guess.

Without it we are unable to even make a guess.

We are actually able to guess (but this is a poor use of our time): there are other tickets (with a lot more information in them) with the same symptom, and it seems that the NUL device driver is somehow disabled in those cases.
