Many of these icons are used by GNU emacs, and are in the emacs cvs at
savannah.gnu.org . The original author of this gnome icon set is Jakub
Steiner, and here
  http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/1637.html
is his employer's LGPL notice. The original files adapted here were
retrieved from the gnome cvs (gnome is GPL), and converted or modified
with the GIMP.
