Tweeter is built from the Ruby on Rails Tutorial sample application

This is my feature implementation to the sample application for Ruby on Rails Tutorial: Learn Web Development with Rails by Michael Hartl.

Customization by Mihalis Fthenos

To show understanding and competence I implemented my own favorites feature, without aid from any tutorial or source code. Users can add and remove favorites that show up in their own favortires feed.

Getting started

To get started with the app, clone the repo and then install the needed gems:

$ bundle install --without production

Next, migrate the database:

$ rails db:migrate

Finally, run the test suite to verify that everything is working correctly:

$ rails test

If the test suite passes, you'll be ready to run the app in a local server:

$ rails server

For more information, see the Ruby on Rails Tutorial book.
