We may want to support a pre-defined list of allowed regulators. This would be a subset of the gene list and could be used if someone wants to restrict the candidate source nodes using prior knowledge.

#29 added support for the regix regulator index. Before closing this issue, we want to create a new test case that will confirm the regulator list is being used as expected and that future code changes do not affect the behavior. We can use a copy of data1 with a small regulator list for this.
