Gitpod seems to require phone verification in some circumstances, which can create friction when starting out with the tutorials.
A solution could be that of adding a docker compose file and configuration, to get the environment set up like in Gitpod but on a local machine.
If we have time, it'd be nice to do this before the conference, as a contingency plan.
