Are you using an external editor for GDScript or C#?

anymore

Did it work in a previous Godot version? Did it break when you updated Visual Studio Code? Does it work if you configure another external editor? Does your project use multiple assemblies?

I was or am using C# scripts. the other questions I cant answer, as I did not update VSCode (been using the latest version at that time), and I was using godot the first time.
