Tested versions

  • Reproducible in: v4.3.beta2.official [b75f048], v4.2 and later
  • Not Reproducible in: v3.5 and later

System information

Windows 10 - v4.3.beta2.official [b75f048] - GLES 3.0.0 Angle (Compatibility) [Intel R HD Graphics (0x00000102) Direct3D 11 vs__4_1 ps_4_1, D3D11-9.17.10.4459]]

Issue description

When creating a TileSetAtlasSource (preferably with an image larger than 200px), set the editor's grid to a smaller region snap than the image, causing poor performance when the grid is rendered.

2024-06-24.11-23-36.mp4

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a TileMapLayer/TileMap
  • Assign a new TileSet
  • Add an Atlas texture
  • In the "Configure" section, write a minimum value for the region to fit (preferably smaller than the texture size)

Minimal reproduction project (MRP)
