What's this PR?
This PR has been created according to the feedback provided by @claudiofantacci at #62, so as to keep it simpler.
This PR adds the missing docstring of the function
dm_pix.color_conversion.split_channels, even though that function is not defined in__init__and it shouldn't be publicly used, it's nice to have it documented.
