Welcome to the Blueberry wiki! Blueberry is just a layer of syntactic sugar on top of regular PHP. It's designed to be easy to learn, a pleasure to use and beautiful to see.

About

The main inspiration for the syntax is Ruby, also, the idea is a derivate from Coffeescript, both awesome languages with awesome communities. Blueberry's focus is readable and beautiful code, it tries to keep the code as simple as possible.

Blueberry does not aim to be used exclusively (although it's possible), it's designed to run alongside existing PHP projects, you can write WordPress plugins, or even use it in an MVC framework like CodeIgniter or CakePHP.
