Table of Contents
Our project is grounded on the growing problem of chronic diseases resulting from poor diet and lifestyle habits. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and certain cancers are the leading causes of death worldwide, and poor diet is a major contributing factor. The analysis of current trends in this related topic has highlighted the pressing need for interventions that promote healthy eating habits and increase access to nutritious fruits and vegetables. Through this background study, we have identified for develop a mobile app that utilizes machine learning algorithms to analyze images of food products and provide accurate recommendations for healthy recipes based on their nutritional value.
