Dasein Cloud 2012.09 is a major release of the Dasein Cloud API that incorporates all of the changes from the defunct 2012.07 release.
- Merged codebases for AWS, Eucalyptus, OpenStack/EC2, and Google Storage S3. See the Wiki pages for the AWS implementation of Dasein Cloud for full details on how to use the merged codebases.
- Added examples into Dasein Cloud Core illustrating how to write code against Dasein Cloud.
- Added IPv6 support
- COMPAT ISSUE Removed support for encryption within Dasein Cloud. Clients now responsible for their own encryption management.
- COMPAT ISSUE Removed support for faux bucket hierarchies. Storage only supports a bucket hierarchy if the underlying cloud supports it.
- Added meta-data queries to determine what kind of bucket hierarchies might be supported by the underlying cloud.
