In case of "format=binary" the incoming payload is unnecessarily duplicated

When the format: binary, incoming payload is first duplicated before being passed to the parser. That is redundant and in case of a big payload (50mb as an example) causes a significant hang of the browser (order of seconds).

The original fix was proposed here #683 but that caused some internal (to Google?) breakages.
