Updating to Eto 2.5.0 fixes multiple bugs, however it also introduces new ones.

  • Resizing to smaller sizes is broken on the Gtk platform.
  • Workarounds for Eto 2.4 bugs can be removed.
  • Extensive testing is needed for all UI with both Gtk and WPF platforms.

Work is being done in the eto-2.5 branch.

This is now in master. There are still various Eto bugs (mostly with Gtk), but none are so serious that we would want to avoid doing updating.
