Image Optimization #168
Comments
This image stuff is complicated. It does a lot of magic so it's not always easy to figure out what's going wrong where. I tested this and developed most of it on Win7 so I'm surprised that you're seeing problems. At some point I'm going to redo the image optimizations, but it's a big task and I've got other things going on right now. |
I see, there are more important tasks right now... Maybe its just a small problem with my system configuration. |
FWIW, this is the number one thing I want to fix and improve on this project. it's just that I haven't had time to work on this project in a couple of months. I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot your issue. I'm trying to get as much info as possible about where this stuff is breaking. Images are a big deal and I'm not doing as good a job as I should be at helping people optimize them. |

i hear nothing. i see nothing. i close. |
Well both image optimization routines (optipng, jpegtran) still don't work for me.
Optipng shows always Result:1 (even if I have the newest version installed and use the fix: described on issues/39)
While Jpegtran shows this error: jpegtran.exe: must name one input and one output file.
Win7
Build Script: 1.0
Optipng: 0.7.4
JpegTran
I've not hacked into the build script just yet so maybe you have a workaround or can point me to the right direction?
Maybe its possible not using the image optimization stuff at all but still use "ant minify" If so that would be ok for me, I usually do the optimization within Photoshop so I wouldn't miss it.
regards
