I think we can use the app to facilitate new contractors getting really good at their jobs fast by sharing wisdom with them.
Could show a "tips" box for newly registered contractors, with stuff like:
It's a good idea to check a plot on the first day you receive an order. (1/12).
Swipe to get 2/12. After 12/12 you can dismiss it. Or you can dismiss it by an X in the corner at any time.
As it stands, we don't have a clear description of what the workers do. It seems they're kind of autonomous. Still, there is surely some shared wisdom among them.

Idea: employee tips
Idea: use the app to facilitate contractor onboarding

That is a great idea. How would the tips be vetted and included? Would they be learned experiences that the contractors send to management which writes clear and concise copy to be added by app development team in an ongoing support role? Would there be a contractor interface that would allow them to share learned experiences in a forum with the top 10-12 upvoted/helpful ones being automatically listed?
@HTSauter My first thought was to have them entered by HarvestHub administrators.
I think a prerequisite to moving forward on this one is to come up with a list of tips we might want contractors to see. The act of doing this will likely give us a better idea of how we'd like it to be managed.
