hoopl tests are written using test-framework, which has been abandoned and is not being developed. I suggest migrating tests to tasty.

I'm all for it - the initial PR actually used tasty :-) see #8

Oh, I totally forgot about that. I suppose that in this case we can close this issue.

@jstolarek I still believe this was a would be a bad decision, as tasty has a couple of issues: test-framework worked with GHC 8RC1 since day one (because I do maintain test-framework), tasty still doesn't work with GHC 8RC1 today!

Also, tasty deliberately fails to support GHC 7.0 for no good reason

I was not aware of that. Let's forget about tasty then.
