I seems like "Removing withMvar" should be in 2.6.3.6 since it is a bug fix. I'd prefer to defer these other items to 2.7.0.2, since the 2.6.x.x branch is in maintenance mode and 2.7.x.x is for growth before 3.0.0.0.

This is a bug fix release for the 2.6 branch of network.

  • Removed unnecessary withMVar, which caused locking on close.
    #330
